and HELP…
Great content …yes?
Here are the main points again…
Four Percent Free Training – Summary
3 reasons why businesses fail online.
1. You’re COMFORTABLE.
2. You’re CONFUSED
3. You’re LYING to yourself.
Here’s How To Avoid Failing Online
1. Learn how to become uncomfortable with your results…
Tony Robbins describes this as getting ‘HUNGRY’. If you’re struggling to get hungry watch this video…
“Need to want success as badly as you want to be able to breathe”
Understand the ‘trickle down effect’. Most people only hit 10% of their goal, so increase your goal tenfold!
Once you’ve 10 x’d you goal surround yourself (books, training, events etc) with people achieving at LEAST this level of success.

2. To beat confusion get clear about what you want.
If you want to be an entrepreneur become clear about what that is exactly…
en.tre.pre.neur
a person who organises and operates a business or businesses, taking on greater than normal financial risk in order to do so.
Vick references Napoleon Hill’s classic “Think And Grow Rich” chapter 2 the 6 steps for developing life changing DESIRE for your goal.
These steps detail the clarity required in developing specific goals…
1. Fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire. It is not sufficient merely to say, “I want plenty of money.” Be definite as to the amount. (There is a psychological reason for definiteness which will be described in a subsequent chapter).2. Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you deisre. (There is no such reality as “something for nothing.”)3. Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money you desire.4. Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into action.5. Write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire, nae the time limit for its acquisition, state what you intend to give in return for the money, and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate it.6. Read you written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning. As you read–see and feel and believe yourself already in possession of the money.
If you want to see all the success elements put together in an over the shoulder case study format check out Vicks Four Percent Challenge…
3. We all lie to ourselves…
Have running battles with our subconscious mind based on our life circumstances and personal life experiences.
Our subconscious mind usually wins these battles… meaning we rarely operate outside of our personal ‘comfort zone’.
Change, and with it success is rarely found when operating in our comfort zone. We have to learn how to break through our self limiting beliefs.
In the video below Vick goes into great detail about how our subconscious mind and life experiences tend to build limiting beliefs that have to be broken for us to progress. This is a potential life changing video.
In the Four Percent Challenge Vick demonstrates how you can put all these success elements together and the process you go through daily that will break through self limiting beliefs on your road to success.
In the challenge Vick sets up his business process in a way that delivers CONTROL.
Control over the actions you take. Vick explains first why he’s doing specific actions and then shows you how to do them.this clarity is key to building confidence.
Control over the strategy and plans you follow. Again Vick explains the strategies he uses. In a nutshell marketing is always about testing so that you can cut the bad and keep the good (profitable). Vick uses proven strategies and leverages technology so that he can easily test angles and scale the perst performing. Business becomes a whole lot easier when you have this level of control.
Control over how you handle the problems which always occur. Shit happens. EXPECT problems to occur. Welcome them even.
Ryan Holiday discusses this point in his book “The Obstacle is the Way”… the art of turning adversity to advantage. For most of us online marketers the problems we will face have all been faced by others before us.
Our challenge is to camly seek and probably modify the solutions to our circumstances.
Vick mentions in his video above that he can help people ‘break through’ their mental barriers…
Well here it is…
Taken from the Four Percent Challenge this video will help people get past THEMSELVES…
I’ve set the video to to cut the intro and exit content so you just have the training content. The video controls are enabled so you can if you want watch all the video and move through it as you require.
Please, please, please watch it…

If you’re struggling with either being comfortable, confused, or possibly lying to yourself Vick recommends the fastest way to success is to find a mentor. Somebody who you 100% TRUST (vital)….
The screenshot below is Vick pointing out that if your currently earning under $5k /mo that you should immerse yourself following the guidance of one mentor who is proven to earn a minimum of 10x your goal.
Do exactly what they tell you UNTIL YOU HIT YOUR GOAL.
If you like Vicks style of coaching why not check out the Four Percent Success Challenge…
I appreciate your straight forward no BS approach. Not everybody is going to have success, thats a fact. Everybody can, but most people just won’t do what needs to get done, and that is all there is to it.
I have to say, I am impressed by how knowledgable you are, and how informative your extensive video is. I am putting your advice to work right now. Thanks!
Well I have learnt through experience that making money online is not an easy process. You have to be really determined and work hard to get a solid income. I like what is said in the video that you should not get comfortable, but I wonder how can one get comfortable in an online business. At what point does one reach and become comfortable, I wonder if I will ever get to that point.
A mentor is a good person to help one eliminate confusion and lying to yourself but the most important thing is to write down your goals and work on accomplishing them. If you fall you get up and try again, thank you for showing us that you can make it in online business.
For me ‘comfortable’ is an ongoing battle. It’s a life thing, nice home, happy relationships, enough money to get by …settling for less than I could be.
Vick’s training has motivated me more than any other. The message is to embrace what’s outside your comfort zone and except fear, doubt and anxiety as signs your on the right path…
Or Vick’s attitude just shames me into working harder.
Hi there,
It’s nice to find someone that shares only what works instead of everything under the sun! There are so many different trainings out there, some paid and some free, that it’s hard to figure out who to trust. Can you share what are some of the obstacles you’ve had to overcome so far that this training has helped you to succeed with?
Great question Kris.
Yes, this training has helped me recognise and fight my ongoing battle with complacency caused through being quite ‘comfortable’ as the video highlights. I can’t claim victory yet but I feel I now have the tools and awareness to beat it / put up a better fight …lol.
From a technical perspective Vick’s training focuses on building a long term online business. It very ambitious and a little daunting in terms of expectations. However the marketing approach Vick teaches works when implemented in the right sequence with the positive visitor experience given top priority.
The breakthrough for me personally has been the discovery that as I develop my skills through learning then doing I must also continue to work on my self development and mindset. Though this stuff first appeared a little kooky I now love it and my vastly improved attitude.
Vick is the first online marketer that I’ve studied who puts such emphasis on building mindset skills at the same time as the technical and operational skills. Not for everyone maybe, but works for me.
It is a online money making strategy and seems lucrative one.
Everyone wants success so this should be a no brainer to join and make money.
1. The cost of the program is not very well defined. That is fishy. $49/ month for 3 months, then?
2. It might end up spending 100’s of dollars a month. I checked internet. Eventually it may cost 0/ month. Not sure if this is true?
3. Not sure which branch of affiliate marketing it does to earn that kind of money?
4. There is place to click, join free. Upon clicking it opens up 504 error!
These are my questions/
Great questions Anusuya,
Firstly corrected the broken link my bad 🙁
The cost refers to the The Four Percent Challenge which is an affiliate training program that costs $49/mo or $497 one time and comes with 30 day money back guarantee.
In terms of what do you need to implement Vicks training and therefore a reasonable forecast (what I use in brackets)…
Domain name ($13/ year)
Hosting (Wealthy Affiliate $299 / year)
Website which should promote your unique brand (I use Thrive Themes and Thrive Architect to manage all lead capture needs $149 / year)
Lead Capture – Vick uses Clickfunnels (I use Thrive as costed above)
Email Service Provider – Vick uses ConvertKit (I use Active Campaign $29/mo)
Clickmagick Tracking software ($19 /mo)
For me it costs me $1037 per year for my business set up. This excludes advertising costs.
Note my costs are low, I do my website work myself and using Thrive Leads instead of Clickfunnels saves me a lot.
In terms of what ‘branch’ of affiliate marketing does Vick teach I would describe it as direct response information marketing for ambitious affiliates. This is for people who if they decided to take up a sport would pay for professional lessons and then practice to be the best they could.
It’s not for dabblers (no disrespect intended).
Hope this helps 🙂
This sounds very interesting. I am curious if you are doing the 4 percent challenge and how it has helped you with your online endeavors. I am also curious about cost. I did click on the link and I didn’t go all the way to the sign up, because I’d really like to know what my costs are going to be. This does sound like something great!
Hi Matt’s Mom (call handle)
I’ve answered the costs question in a previous reply. Though it strikes me now I should expand on website costs.
Vick recommends a personal branding style of Theme that creates a very expensive looking site modelling big name online experts such as Gary V, Grant Cardone, Frank Kern etc.
The site is built to impress.
For people that don’t want to design there own Vick recommends a Theme called Estage which is $49/mo or $497 one time.
I’m a member of Thrive Themes ($149 / year) which gives me all their WordPress tools (awesome value) so I don’t need Estage or Clickfunnels ($97/ mo) .
In terms of how this training has helped me…
The daily video sessions are more detailed than I’ve ever seen before, with each day covering what’s to be done and why Vick is doing it …the insight is very helpful for me. We also see every click (within reason) Vick makes. It’s advanced material but because of the detail easy to implement if you take your time.
Also the mindset and self development work is extensive (Vick states success is 80% mindset 20% strategy planning and actions) and sequenced to when you need it. Personally I love this stuff it’s like Tony Robbins teaching affiliate marketing.
I’ve also been quite successful promoting this (made my first leaderboard last year before Vick decided to reposition Four Percent Group away from the MLM Biz Op space).
So it has taught me a new way of doing things, given me the attitude to aim higher, and a vehicle to help me get there.
I am a fan.
I hope this helps.
This four percent training, sounds pretty fantastic. Based on what I’ve read from your article that this training teaches you have to tap into your subconscious mind to achieve success. But I do have one question why is this training different from all the rest of training out there on the internet?
Hi Anthony,
Yes I love the training, and the emphasis on self growth and mindset.
I think there are a few truly unique elements to this training. Saying the detail of the over the shoulder video training is slightly subjective but I’ve never seen such detail before.
The interwoven mindset training throughout is again unique as far as I’m concerned.
But what can’t be denied is a training that is going to show the building of a business that earns over $1Million (phase 3) is unique!
It’s fun too 🙂
Hello, you have a really exciting topic to discuss about. It’s about the actual FACT of entrepreneurship & involving into the business world.
I like the creativity of your post by inserting some of the “low hanging fruit” videos published by the founder of the 4 percent group and the TONY ROBBINS video you have there, it’s really a dose of motivation for entrepreneurs.
Tony Robbins is one of my favorite life and success mentor as well. Watch and read his books occasionally and yes, perhaps in order to be SUPER SUCCESSFUL, one person’ll have to commit and sacrifice a lot. Constantly going against the flow and achieve those dreams and goals (no matter what it takes)
In order to be successful, that particular person would have to execute on his / her ideas with perseverance. Not just talking about it and “sitting” on the idea. By the way, Wealthy Affiliate is another equivalent online entrepreneur “incubator” that shares the same value as what Four Percent group has to offer.
In my opinion, no matter which platform, that “pre-entrepreneur” choose to take part in. He / she has to be prepared for all the possible HURDLES &STRUGGLES; that lies ahead before achieving success!
Regards,
ChrisC.
Hi Chris, great points and yes Wealthy Affiliate and Four Percent do share a lot of principals. Both are fantastic in my opinion …different approaches for different tastes.
Thanks for your comments Chris 🙂
I am trying to clear up the confusion and get clear about what I want. Getting uncomfortable is a little more difficult to do, but I see why that would be so important because when you are comfortable you are fine with what you have and are not hungry for more so you will not be able to achieve progress if you are not going to go out of your comfort zone in order to achieve it. Only we can decide we are worth it and stop limiting ourselves with our own self doubt.
Hi Shy. Sounds like you’ve got it covered 🙂
Hello,
This is a very information, action packed site. I can really relate to the 3 reasons people fail online. I recognize myself in all of those reasons, but mostly #3, not being honest with myself. What I believe and know to be true is a bit different from what I actually do. Working online requires a lot of discipline and focus. You are providing a lot of tools to help in these areas….mainly creating the right mindset. Thank you for the information and as I become more honest with myself, I know where to go to get more help.
Continued success,
Debbie
Thanks Debbie, yes I’ve got my own demons to slay too 🙂
