Testing A New Angle

Testing A NEW Angle

Four Percent Challenge Case Study

As a student of Vick Strizheus Four Percent Success Challenge I’m keen to test out what I’m learning so you can PROFIT too.

Vick has much advice for affiliates but one of the pillars of his methodology, is to always BUILD YOURSELF before promoting anything.

This means you can stand out from the crowd with your own UNIQUE MESSAGE.

Makes sense?

Also…

Vick will push you to put your visitors needs before your own. In other words HELP PEOPLE before asking for anything in return.

Vicks training will awaken your creative side…

I’ve had a few ideas about how I could be both unique and helpful which I hope may help you too.

In a nutshell…

Learn > Do > Show >Share

Learn from Vick, do it, show people what you’ve done and share the results.

Simple.

Yes, others will do the same but it’s YOU that makes it unique.

Somebody great once said a winning idea needs only be 10% new.

NOTE: I didn’t say teach. If you don’t feel qualified to teach, showing is authentic and easy – right?

So my idea is to ‘attract’ affiliate marketers to my OFFER of free information.

In this instance a FREE offer about a new product marketplace that provides affiliates the best opportunity to earn I’ve ever seen.

Recognizing that many  affiliates have been hit by the FTC closures to companies recently the market needs good solid products to promote without the hope & hype selling that’s caused many of the problems.

The Four Percent Success Challenge represents a great opportunity for you to both learn and earn through promoting ANYTHING you want.

You don’t have to promote the challenge.

But you can.

It’s no ‘easy button’…

You’ll learn new skills  …if this we’re a computer game you’re about to level up!

So Here’s What You’ll Learn…

To create and test landing pages around your ideas…

I tested the concept of an ‘Ultimate Affiliate Program’ to see if the headline would trigger people’s curiosity.

You’ll learn how to quickly and affordably test these with fast targeted traffic…

I created a short landing page for solo ad traffic and a longer landing page with more content for Bing Pay Per Click traffic.

Here are the results…

Clickmagick conversionn tracking report Ultimate Affiliate Program

Confession! I suck at stats…

The red blob highlights the two solo ad campaigns I’ve run so far and the free traffic I’ve attracted from my website (WAC BLOG)

The highlighted column headers UC = Unique Clicks ACR = Action Conversion Rate. The action being people that opted in and reached my thank you page. And ECR= Engagement Conversion Rate meaning people that clicked my affiliate link in the thank you page.

Early days but the email optin rate from solo ad traffic is really high …though solo ad traffic has a rep for being really hard to engage with after they’ve signed up.

Next we have a Pay Per Click campaign I’m running with Bing. Again good opt-in rate of near 70% but what I think is a low click through to offer rate of just shy of 20%.

And here’s my email open report…

I made the mistake of reordering my follow up emails before I took the screen capture (silly me). So they’re out from the original order. The headline is a highest open rate of 38% dropping as days go by…

So with this effort has there been any sales made…

Yes 🙂

4 in the final 10 days of November and 4 in December so far (12th)

And some activity with the MSI’s…

The following with Clickfunnels…

And I have 2 free trials with both ConvertKit and Clickmagick.

I’ve spent a total of $180 on the solo ads and £40.14 ($50.78) with Bing so a grand total of $230.78.

And on the plus side I have 466 new subscribers and sales of $685.68. I’m no expert on this stuff but I know that being profitable ($454.90) so quickly is great.

I’ve clearly got work to do to improve my visitor and email follow up engagement…

But boy this is a great start!

Conclusion

It’s clear that the Four Percent Success Challenge is a great product to promote .

I knew I was addicted, but wondered if others would would be too. They are!

Many other members are achieving great results…

You can too.

  1. Cool thanks Vick,I really appreciate this article nice one really cause I started gaining and joting right from the bigining of the post when you said your advice for affiliates that one of the pillars of your methodology, is to always BUILD YOURSELF before promoting anything which means you can stand out from the crowd with your own UNIQUE MESSAGE. And to the part which says always render your help to people before expecting back from them Thanks nice post….

    • Thanks Yormith96, the build yourself and help people before promoting has been a game changer for me. And it only takes a little more thought and effort… time well spent IMO.

  2. This article is really motivating. This four percent challenge is really powerful to change a person’s ideology beyond what you think. Understanding one of your point which says BUILD YOURSELF, it means you can’t give what you don’t have thus which will help me in promoting anything as an affiliate marketer. I have written down other points to meditate over at leisure. Thanks for sharing this article.

    • My pleasure Olalekan. Exactly take a little time to learn something of value which you can share with others before asking for anything in return.

  3. Great one, but I’m afraid a lot of newbies including myself, will be hesitant to be involved in, for the reason that it really involves spending money to make money. But as we know it, if one wants faster and dramatic results, paid advertising like buying solo ads is the way to go. I admire your being detailed in every expense and revenue generated, I wish I can do it too. We’re in business, and to be successful, one has to be accurate in numbers. Thanks for this review of Vick’s program. I’ve known him before, we were both members of Empower Network then and he was one of the top earners.

    • Hi Gomer, yes Vick certainly made a splash in Empower Network back in the day. Pleased he’s moved his own business away from the MLM model. Your right about paid traffic you have to start slow and test to make sure you don’t waste money.

  5. I really liked reading your valuable blog. In particular, Vick’s suggestion is very similar to one of my ideas, quality comes first profit is its logical sequence. Actually, it is important to prepare yourself before publishing. It’s really tuff to challenge only about four percent successes. I appreciate your explanation with the help of various information-data and diagrams, how to succeed in affiliate marketing or business is. Thank you very much for the resourceful and excellent article. I hope to hear from you in the next article.RegardsRanao.

  6. After reading the entire article I had few questions. I did visit the link and look at the program and it seems that Vick is addressing the issue that faces most struggling individuals. The main question I had is why did you use so much spacing that it made the article hard to read. Was it to slow the reader down? Overall I liked the article and believe that you gave a real clear explanation of what you were trying to do. Your links were clear and yet not pushy and I liked that.

  7. What are the upsell products in the Four Percent Success Challenge? He focused on high-end products (high cost). I am curious as Vick Strizheus’ reputation is not painted in a very good light. I saw his High Traffic Academy heavily promoted only to fail. As I recall, there were lots of complaints. Years and years ago, I was in Empower Network briefly but did not stay in because of issues I had with my merchant account. I know Vick was in as well. I think he left before EN went out of business.

    • Hi Glen, yes I know what you mean. Vick caught my attention with his rapid success within Empower Network. I personally didn’t keep track on Vick until the Four Percent Group which I thought was a great idea. I’m also pleased to report that Vick has moved his business model away from the high-risk MLM and biz op stuff.

In terms of cost, The Four Percent Success Challenge is $49 /mo or $497 lifetime. To implement as Vick teaches you’ll need your own domain name, hosting and website, as well as tools for lead capture and email marketing. If you have these already you’re all set.

If you haven’t got these tools Vick has a list of recommended options such as Clickfunnels, Leadpages, Aweber etc.

Four Percent offer a WordPress Theme called E-Stage which is optional and mirrors those ‘hero’ homepage layouts preferred by big-name entrepreneurs like Frank Kern and Grant Cardone … looks very impressive.

And finally, you’ll be offered Internet Traffic Academy which is likely to be $997.

The trick, in my opinion, is only invest once you start seeing results because there is no point in investing in fancy themes and paid traffic until your business is profitable.

But Vicks training has helped me become more profitable than any training I’d previously taken, so It’s been worth it for me.
